Lambs Farm Craft Fest returns with fun for a cause

The Lambs Farm Summertime Craft Fest returns to Elgin for a two-day show.

The area's favorite event for Chicago area shoppers will feature more than 125 artisan booths, family-friendly DJ, food trucks, as well as a beer and wine garden.

The family fun event will allow craft enthusiasts to experience the unique show in an outdoor setting at Camp Big Timber, 37W955 Big Timber Road, Elgin, a 70-acre park and campground.

While guests enjoy the many artisans the show has to offer, they will also be supporting Lambs Farm, which works to help people with developmental disabilities lead productive, happy lives.

After a two-year hiatus, Lambs Farm partnered with the local event company Craft Productions Inc. to bring back the popular craft show and extended the community support through a partnership with the Three Fires Council, Boy Scouts of America.

The craft show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug 13 and 14. Tickets can be purchased for $5 in advance or $6 in person on the day of the event. Kids younger than 16 are free with an adult and the event offers free parking.
