The annual Vintage Days festival will return to historic downtown Long Grove the weekend of Saturday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Aug. 7.
Organized by the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association, this throwback celebration bridges yesterday with today, featuring all things vintage, reclaimed, handmade, upcycled, antique, and repurposed in an open-air marketplace.
The free event gives everyone, from the vintage collector to the vintage admirer, a plethora of products they can't find anywhere else. In addition to dozens of vendors lining the street, Vintage Days also features classic summertime drinks, treats, live music, and family activities.
The improved historic downtown Long Grove, now construction-free after a multi-year beautification rehab, is known for its independent, family-owned and operated restaurants and stores.
Vintage Days marks the end of the summer shopping season in town, with local merchants featuring final summertime specials and sales throughout the event.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the downtown area (GPS address is 145 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove). Admission is free.
