HydraForce to be acquired by Bosch Rexroth
LINCOLNSHIRE - HydraForce Inc. said it plans to join Bosch Rexroth's growing portfolio of compact hydraulics products, expanding its reach and support for customers.
Bosch Rexroth, a subsidiary of Bosch and based in Lohr am Main, Germany, is a growing leader in mobile and industrial hydraulics products. Bosch Rexroth USA has a corporate campus in Hoffman Estates.
HydraForce agreed to be acquired by Bosch Rexroth on July 15, with both sides agreeing to keep financial terms of the contract confidential, the companies said. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval.

I believe the new ownership will create great opportunities for our customers, partners and employees and lead to sustained growth," said Mike Terzich, president and CEO of HydraForce, in a news release.
HydraForce was established in Chicago in 1985 and its headquarters are now in Lincolnshire. It has manufacturing facilities across the world, including North America, Great Britain, Brazil and China. The company designs and manufactures high performance hydraulic fluid power cartridge valves, custom manifolds and electrohydraulic controls.
HydraForce employs approximately 2,100 people, most of whom work at six production locations.
