Mobile dental clinic for children available this July

This July, the Hoffman Estates Health and Human Services Department will host a mobile dental clinic for all children, from newborns to college students. Appointments are required. Services include cleanings, exams, sealants and fluoride treatments.

Dental exams are required for children entering kindergarten, second, sixth and ninth grades. These preventative services will satisfy school requirements, and a certificate will be provided upon completion of the exam.

Medicaid and private insurance are accepted. The cleaning and exam fee for those without dental insurance is $20. Fluoride treatment is available for $29; sealants on premolars are $35 per tooth. Cash, check, credit, debit and Care Credit are all accepted.

The mobile dental clinic is open to all communities, and appointments are held in the Health and Human Services Department at Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road in Hoffman Estates. More information is available through the Village of Hoffman Estates website at www.hoffmanestates.org/clinics. For questions and to schedule an appointment, call (847) 781-4850.
