Elk Grove Village Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series Kicks Off July 4

Elk Grove Village is kicking off our popular "Unity within the Community" Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series with a special performance by KC & the Sunshine Band on Monday, July 4. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. on Rotary Green, 164 Lions Drive, East of Lions Park, Elk Grove Village.

Directly following the Independence Day concert will be a Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, hosted by the Lions Club of Elk Grove Village. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at an affordable price for the family.

On Tuesday, July 12, Little River Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. on the Village Green, 901 Wellington Ave.

For the first time ever, the Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series will feature a Thursday night concert in conjunction with Rotary Fest. On Thursday, July 21, Rick Springfield will perform at 7:30 p.m. on the Rotary Green.

On Tuesday, July 26, the final concert in the lineup will feature Sheena Easton on the Village Green at 7:30 p.m. "We look forward to coming together as a community to enjoy free summer concerts throughout the month of July," said Mayor Craig Johnson. "We take pride in offering first-class entertainment to our residents and guests."

Elk Grove Village is thankful for the partnership of the Elk Grove Park District and the support of the Elk Grove Library and our corporate supporters that allow us to provide high quality, family-friendly entertainment to the community.

The village looks forward to hosting another enthusiastic crowd with fans of all ages to enjoy relaxing summer evenings with friends, family and community.
