Scavenger hunt brings summer fun to downtown Aurora

Aurora Downtown is partnering with Adventures in Scavenger Hunting to provide a fun, monthly challenge this summer.

The Summer Fun Hunt entices visitors each month with three clues that will be released on Facebook and Instagram, which will lead to three different downtown locations featuring public art.

June's clues sent participants to Galena Boulevard, Benton Street, and Broadway. Participants found an abominable snowman, colorful wings, and a metal sculpture at Santori Library.

Aurora Downtown's Summer Fun Hunt continues through the end of August. Each month, find all three clues and fill out a Google form at forms.gle/DFVXuqkhvpzHoGvC7 to be entered into a raffle.

Submit a photo via Instagram by tagging @downtownaurora for extra entries.

July's three clues are "Firefighting Duo," "In Full Bloom," and "Fresh and Ripe Corner."

The scavenger hunt can be completed any day of the week at any time and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
