Ninth annual WOOFstock to feature adoptable animals June 12

Hoof Woof and Meow Animal Rescue, a 100% foster and volunteer-based rescue facility, is holding its biggest fundraiser of the year,

Bring the family and join the fun at the ninth annual WOOFstock fundraiser on Sunday, June 12, from 1 to 5 p.m. at The Chubby Bullfrog located at Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee.

It's all about peace, love, and pets! "We invite everyone to come and visit us and meet our adoptable animals, visit our vendor booths, and enjoy live entertainment," said Lori Schutt, president of Hoof Woof and Meow Animal Rescue. "We'll also have tons of raffle prizes, crafts for the kids, face painting, and a photo booth."

A percentage of all food sales will also be donated back to Hoof Woof and Meow Animal Rescue, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary year.

Established in September 2012, its mission is to eliminate needless deaths and inhumane treatment of all animals by providing qualified foster homes, well-being care and medical attention.

"Our team is committed to finding the right forever homes for the animals in our care to make sure they live happy lives," added Schutt. "Over the years, we have worked with many individuals and families to provided hundreds of animals a brand new life and safe environment."

Hoof Woof and Meow Animal Rescue is a registered non profit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue organization.
