Aurora recognizes Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh during AAPI heritage month

On May 17, 2022, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh received a proclamation for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin. This proclamation represents the exceptional volunteer work Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh performed in the community. HSS has adopted highways, hosted food drives to donate to food pantries, and most recently hosted a spectacular Hindu exhibit in Fox Valley Mall.

The Aurora mayor thanked HSS for excelling and conserving the community and handed the proclamation to the executive director of HSS local chapter, Mahesh Chintakunta. Mr. Chintakunta states that, "On behalf of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh we really thank the mayor, Richard Irvin and the city of Aurora for recognizing HSS"
