Hey Nonny presents Sounds of Summer After Party

Summer music in downtown Arlington Heights won't stop with the popular Sounds of Summer Concerts. Hey Nonny has announced a free music "After Party" following almost every Sounds of Summer show at the popular music venue/restaurant across from Harmony Park.

"We are all about music, food, and community, so we can't wait to see the crowds downtown for Sounds of Summer," said Hey Nonny co-owner Chip Brooks. "With Arlington Al Fresco and Sounds of Summer, the vibe is unbeatable in the neighborhood."

Hey Nonny will open their large half-wall windows and the giant interior wall during the Sounds of Summer shows, so dinner patrons can enjoy the collection of performers on the village-sponsored stage. As soon as the last note is played there, audiences can simply turn around and enjoy more free music from the Hey Nonny stage.

"It will be like a Chicago breeze," Brooks said. "One minute the music will be moving east to west, and suddenly it will flow in the opposite direction."

Hey Nonny's outdoor patio is the prime location for enjoying the Sounds of Summer concerts.

"Our patio patrons get a great view of the concert while they enjoy Hey Nonny's tasty food and cocktails," Brooks said.

Outdoor patrons can slide into the bistro or venue at Hey Nonny for the After Party or continue to enjoy the After Party band from the outside patio with the windows wide open.

"We're going to offer up a real musical mix, including electro-pop, prog rock, hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s, Americana, funk-soul, even Celtic," Brooks said.
