Northwestern Mutual-Chicago names Kieran KJ Maloney to leadership role

Kieran KJ Maloney, a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual-Chicago, was appointed a College Unit Director in the Oak Brook office. In this leadership role, he will recruit and lead a team of college students participating in the firm's industry-leading financial planning internship program.

"KJ has made great contributions to the internship through mentoring and coaching our college financial representatives," said Chad McQuade, managing director. As an aspiring financial professional on a leadership tract, growing a financial planning business, he is an inspiration for what is possible for the next generation of financial advisors."

Maloney started his career upon graduation from college in 2019. He was named a College Unit Captain in 2021, a position he held until being named a College Unit Director.

In addition to his leadership role, he will continue to grow his practice, building on the firm's vision to bring financial security to the community, one individual, one family, and one business at a time.

Maloney earned a Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was an Evans Scholar.
