Batavia center to host 'Living in the Spirit' May 19

Join the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary for a presentation on "Living in the Spirit" on Thursday, May 19, at the Nazareth Spirituality Center in Batavia.

Each year, they gather on the Solemnity of Pentecost and sing "Come, Holy Spirit …" But how do you prepare your heart to receive this great gift more fully into your daily life?

Come for a morning of presentation, quiet reflection, and prayer to ready ourselves to welcome the Holy Spirit and celebrate the Spirit's presence among us.

It will be 9 to 11 a.m. at the Nazareth Spirituality Center, 717 N. Batavia Ave. Cost for this program is $15.

The presenter, Sister Linda K. Hatton, is a member of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary, Holy Family Province, USA, located in Kankakee, Ill. She is currently residing in Beaverville, Ill., where she offers spiritual and liturgical resources to the rural parishes of Ford and Iroquois counties of Illinois. She assists in the planning and presentation of various retreat experiences and has made presentations and workshops on prayer, liturgy, and religious life.
