Downers Grove North puts on 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time'

Downers Grove North Theatre presents its spring play, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," on May 5-7.

The performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 5-6, and 5 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Studio Theatre, Room 248, 4436 Main St. in Downers Grove.

The story about Christopher Boone who is exceptional at math but finds people confusing. It is based on the 2003 mystery novel by British author Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens.

The show is recommended for ages 12 or older.

General admission tickets are $10, $5 for seniors, or free for Downers Grove Community High School District 99 students.

The cast features: Owen Curran as Christopher Boone; Grace Troelstrup as Siobhan; Dimirti Marinakos as Ed Boone; and Ashley Chavez as Judy Boone. Other cast members include: Emma Nicklaus, Maxwell Churma, Matthew Sirota, Gabe Deaton, Addison Sutton, and Morgan Tappmeyer.

The production staff includes: stage manager Zoe Petro; assistant stage managers Iain Macaskill and Helen Parker; rehearsal assistant Madeline Meggos; assistant technical director Raymond Zaloudek; assistant scenic designer Emily Kyroudis; props supervisors Connor Daemicke, Natasha Fugate and Lauren Burzynski; projections designer Finn Larkin; assistant lighting designer Brianna Lee; master electrician Finn Larkin; sound designer Rebecca Helsdon; and sound engineer Amelia Kolatek.
