Join 'There's No Place Like Lombard' photo contest during Lilac Time
The Village of Lombard is hosting its annual Lilac Time Photo Contest from May 1-29.
This year's contest encourages photographers to submit photos of people, children and pets enjoying their favorite Lombard locations during Lilac Time.
The contest is open to Lombard residents and visitors. The goal is to collect and display images of people, children and pets enjoying the special places that make Lombard such a unique and wonderful place to live, work and visit.
Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 29, 2022, including the required release form.
Entries may be submitted digitally via e-mail to communications@villageoflombard.org, or on a CD/USB drive to Village Hall.
Social media submissions will also be accepted but must include the #VOLLilacTimePhotoContest hashtag to be considered.
Images will be judged by the community relations committee and winners will be contacted via email, and announced on the village's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages on Friday, June 17.
The first-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $100, the second-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $50, and the third-place winner will receive a gift card valued at $25. The winning photos will be featured on the village website, social media and used in future promotional materials.
