5 Star Rating Celebration Draws Hundreds to the Library
Ela Area Public Library's 5-Star Celebration brought in a crowd to the library. With the help of My Funnel Truck, the Lake Zurich community was treated to free funnel cakes and other sweet treats during the afternoon celebration. Over 300 library users stopped by the event held on March 17.
Earlier this year, the library was awarded a five-star ranking in "Library Journal's" annual national review of public libraries. The five-star library ranking was awarded to just five public libraries in Illinois and 85 nationwide. This is the second year Ela Library has received the highest recognition.
