Judson University plans spring break choir tour

The Judson University Choir is making an eight-stop tour in Illinois and Wisconsin from March 5-13.

On the tour, the choir will sing at churches and some performance venues.

This tour will feature a nearly 45-member choir, highlighting the strength of the Judson Choir as a critical outreach of the university.

The spring break choir tour will start on Saturday, March 5, with a worship concert at 6 p.m. at Hillcrest Covenant Church, 1515 N. First St. in DeKalb.

On Sunday, March 6, the choir will join ministry during the services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave. in Gurnee.

Then, the choir is traveling to Platteville Free Methodist Church, 350 E. Furnace St. in Wisconsin, for a worship concert at 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, March 8, the choir will perform a worship concert at 7 p.m. at New Song Community Church, 2858 Haferichter Road in Aurora.

On Wednesday, March 9, the choir will join in Chapel worship at 9 and 10:45 a.m. at Westminster Christian School, 2700 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin.

On Thursday, March 10, the choir will travel to Wisconsin for a worship concert at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Church, 400 W. Brown St. in Waupun.

On Friday, March 11, enjoy a worship concert with the choir at 6 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church, 200 Cairns Court in Woodstock.

On Sunday, March 13, the tour ends with the choir performing during the 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. services at First Baptist Church, 1602 S. Prospect Ave. in Savoy.

Judson alumni and friends are invited to attend concerts in their home cities along the spring tour.
