Free COVID vaccinations, flu shots, and food at March 6 community event in Aurora

The City of Aurora Community Services Department is hosting a communitywide vaccination clinic to provide free, convenient COVID-19 vaccinations and flu shots.

Held in collaboration with VNA Health Care and Aldermen-at-Large Sherman Jenkins and Ron Woerman, the vaccination clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, at La Sierra, 2121 E. New York St.

Residents can receive free COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters, and free flu shots. No insurance or social security is required to participate, but residents must register for vaccinations at www.aurora-il.org/March6Vax or by calling (331) 256-5377.

The event will feature door prizes, music, and free tacos from Primos Tacos.

Primos Mexican Cuisine and Bright HealthCare are also sponsors of the event.
