A fact sheet on the Pfizer vaccine for kids ages 5-11 is available on the Kane County Health Department's website kanevax.org.

In addition, the Kane Vax site at 501 N. Randall Road in Batavia is hosting a Pfizer vaccine clinic for kids, age 5 to 11, from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Dec. 29.

Due to current high volumes, no walk-in appointments will be provided for patients ages 5-11 years of age for the safety and best experience for families at the Kane Vax Hub site. All individuals must register for an appointment at kanevax.org.

Kids age 5 to 11 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine and must have a guardian's signature on the Pfizer consent form.
