New Year's Day Alpine Fest at Buffalo Creek Brewing to Ring in 2022

Buffalo Creek Brewing in historic downtown Long Grove is celebrating the arrival of 2022 by hosting the second annual New Year's Day Alpine Fest, from noon to 10 p.m. on Jan. 1. The German style brewery, which has been transformed into an alpine winter retreat, will offer guests of the (no-ticketed) event two festive party scenes inside and outside to ring in the New Year.

Set against a scenic pine forest, the Alpine Biergarten at Buffalo Creek Brewing offers six stocked firepits, patio and barrel table heat lamps, sheepskin seat covers, twinkle lighting, holiday décor, and over two acres of winter wonderland to explore and stay socially distanced from others. Along with fresh handcrafted beer and outdoor tableside service, the Alpine Biergarten will also feature a food truck and a band, The Unemployed Architects, on New Year's Day.

Buffalo Creek Brewing's Alpine Lodge experience mirrors outside but with all the warmth and creature comforts beer lovers would find inside an authentic European beer lodge. Besides cold beer flowing from all lines, the Alpine Lodge will also feature a "gaming" lounge upstairs on New Year's Day with prizes from Buffalo Creek Brewing.
