Elgin's First UMC to honor veterans at Nov. 7 worship

On Sunday, Nov. 7, First United Methodist Church of Elgin will celebrate Veterans Day during the 9 a.m. worship service.

The church will recognize the veterans in the congregation and all those across the country.

The Rev. Dr. Felicia LaBoy and the congregation invite veterans from across the area to join the worship.

We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices you made for our country.

First United Methodist Church of Elgin is located at 216 E. Highland Ave. in downtown Elgin. Free parking is available in around the church and in the parking deck across the street. The building is handicap accessible. If you cannot join in person, please visit fumcelgin.org to watch the livestream.

Later in November, the church is hosting a Craft/Vendor Fair and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20.
