On Saturday, Oct. 30, the Allegiance Youth Color Guard is hosting a pancake breakfast.

The fundraising event, which is open to the public, will be 8 a.m. to noon at the Elgin American Legion Post 57, 820 N. Liberty St.

Breakfast includes pancakes (all-you-can-eat), sausage, coffee, orange juice or milk. Meals are $8 per person, children 5 and under free.

Guests can choose to dine-in or take advantage of the drive-thru option in the parking lot. For health and safety, dine-in guests will be required to wear a face mask until seated.

Additionally, a bake sale, a raffle for assorted prizes and a silent auction will be available.
