'Shooting for the Stars & Stripes' benefit for Flag Day monument

The Fox Valley Patriotic Organization will host a "Shooting for the Stars & Stripes" fundraiser for the Batavia Flag Day Monument on Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, 14N332 Route 25 in Dundee Township. It will be held rain or shine.

Registration starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch from noon to 1 p.m. The opening ceremony and safety briefing will begin at 1 p.m.

Sign up as a team of four for $1,100 or as an individual for $300, and be paired with other individual patriots.

Gun rentals available at registration for $50.

Registration includes lunch, beverages, gun rental, shells (20 or 28 gauge only) and targets

Registration fee is a non refundable donation to the Fox Valley Patriotic Organization

Dont shoot but want to support these efforts? Enjoy the cocktail hour, raffles and auctions at 3 p.m. Cost is $25.
