JLL strengthens Chicago research and strategy team with addition of Dennis Vicchiarelli

JLL is pleased to announce the edition of Dennis Vicchiarelli as Managing Director of Research and Strategy to its market-leading research organization in Chicago.

Vicchiarelli comes to JLL with over 30 years of experience in creating and implementing economic development and land use plans, projects and programs throughout greater Chicago and the state of Illinois. In this new role, he will be a leading authority on commercial real estate activity in the Chicago region, serving as a market expert and JLL representative, and partnering with the business community, media, and public sector.

"As an economic developer, I've worked closely with JLL professionals on the attraction and expansion of many of Chicago's most notable organizations," said Vicchiarelli. "Now, as a member of JLL, I have the opportunity to continue this rewarding work and focus on research and market intelligence at one of the city's most innovative and dynamic companies."

Before joining JLL, Vicchiarelli served as the Executive Vice President for Business Development at World Business Chicago, where he was accountable for the overall performance of one of the nation's leading economic development organizations. In that role, he managed the research, marketing and business development functions. He also focused on the attraction and retention of firms to Chicago, the promotion of its locational advantages, and the design and implementation of economic development strategies.

Vicchiarelli obtained a Master of City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University's Knowlton School of Architecture and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He is an active member of the International Economic Development Council.
