Batavia High School homecoming parade route set

The Batavia High School Homecoming parade unites students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members in an annual celebration of Bulldog pride. There's a new route this year.

The parade will start on Batavia High School's north side (Wilson Street entrance) and wrap around the east to Lincoln Street, with the return to Batavia High School along Main Street. This route helps to alleviate road closures throughout downtown Batavia.

Spectators are welcome to watch along sidewalks and grassy areas. They can share in the excitement of students, alumni, and community members walking, driving, or riding on floats in the parade.

The homecoming parade will officially begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22.

These west side roads will begin to close around 4:30 p.m.

The school invites the community in celebrating this Bulldog tradition.
