'Corks & Crafts' festival Saturday in Hanover Park

A "Corks & Crafts" festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ontarioville Park, 1900 Ontarioville Road, in Hanover Park.

The newly redeveloped Ontarioville Plaza will be the site for an afternoon of wine, craft beer, arts and crafts, music, food and more.

The event will feature a "Paint and Sip" tent and live music.

Admission to the festival is free. Wine and craft beer patrons can purchase a pack of six tasting tickets for $20 and will also receive a commemorative wine or beer glass. You must be at least 21, and a valid ID is required. All wine and beer patrons will be checked and given a wristband.

A sold-out "Paint & Sip" class is being held starting at noon.

Many varieties of arts and crafts will be on display. Music will be provided by Leroy Winn and Hi-Infidelity.

Parking will be available at the Hanover Park Metra station. For more information, call Sue Krauser at (630) 823-5609.
