Learn Palatine history with a cemetery walk

The Palatine Historical Society invites you to join at Hillside Cemetery for a walking tour through Palatine history on Sunday, Sept. 19.

Costumed actors will present the stories of former Palatine residents who have shaped our local history, such as Lois Foskett, Palatine's first female lawyer.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 375 N. Smith St., between Colfax Street and Northwest Highway. The last tour begins at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets, which can be purchased at the event, are $5 for adults, $4 for members, $2 for kids. Funds collected at the walk will be donated to the Township Cemetery Fund for the restoration of headstones.
