The run-walk will head out between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. with check-in starting at 7 a.m. Or sign up for the virtual option.

Teachers from Immanuel Lutheran School will be flipping flapjacks at the pancake breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

The post-race party will feature music, food, book fair, bouncy houses, fun, and prizes.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry, a volunteer-run organization that provides food/necessities to over 6,000 families per year in the Dundee area. Come out and help others while benefiting your own health and exercising with family and friends!

Cost for the 5K is $25 for an individual or $50-family.

Kids Color Run is $10 with 5K Family registration or $15 without 5K registration.

Same-day registration is available and ends at 7:30 a.m.

There will be a bag pickup available at church on Thursday, Aug. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 20, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Started in 2012, the Go FISH 5K had a goal of getting people off the couch and active. This includes active teens and adults, older individuals who would not traditionally consider participating in a 5K, as well as families. Entire families are encouraged to participate together, with awards going to the fastest kids and fastest families.

To encourage families to participate there are plenty of activities post-race including face-painting and bouncy houses. The affiliated school PTA also hosts a pancake breakfast to encourage families to spend additional time together and in community.
