Hillbilly Rockstarz to perform at Batavia United Way's Barn Party Sept. 11
The Batavia United Way encourages you get your dancin' boots ready for the Barn Party 2021 on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Martin Farms in Elburn.
This event for those age 21 or older will feature live music from the Hillbilly Rockstarz. It will be from 7 to 11 p.m.
The open full bar includes signature cocktails from Whiskey Acres, a heavy hors d'oeuvres dinner, Splinters mobile ax throwing, a fun photo booth full of themed props, and more. Dress is cowboy chic.
Ticket sales will benefit the Batavia United Way allocation grants issued to local agency specialists supporting Batavia residents in the areas of education, finance, and health.
Tickets are $125. A portion of the funds will also be committed to Batavia United Way's Success by 6 and Adopt-a-Family restricted funds.

In the last five years, nearly a half-million dollars has been given to area nonprofit agencies. Every year, Batavia United Way conducts an extensive grant process with each agency requesting grant money. Agencies are interviewed, visited, and have their financial records reviewed before any grant money is awarded. In 2020, Batavia United Way committed grant money to 17 area agencies.
