Go bowling to benefit Palatine Township Senior Center

On Tuesday, July 20, the Palatine Township Senior Center is hosting a "Pinstripes Fundraiser" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Pinstripes Bowling and Bocce, 100 W. Higgins Road in South Barrington. Those 21 and older are invited to join in bowling, bocce, food and fun.

Tickets are $50 each and include bowling, bocce, appetizers and beverages. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase to win raffles provided by community donors.

A special raffle is available for White Sox fans. For a $25 raffle ticket, you will have the opportunity to win two Guaranteed Rate Club tickets, a premium parking pass, access to a premium buffet in a private lounge with all food and beverages included, access to the best seat locations in the park, and in-seat wait service for food and beverage.

Tickets for two game days are available: Sunday, Aug. 1, at 1:10 p.m. vs the Cleveland Indians, and Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 7:10 p.m. vs the Oakland A's. The drawings will be done at the event July 20 at 8 p.m.

Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council provides programs and services that support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.

Recreation, education, health and wellness, noon dining, home-delivered meals, adult day services and social service programs are available to anyone 50 and older and their families who live in Palatine Township and the surrounding communities in the North and Northwest suburbs.
