New cafe opens at Gail Borden Public Library

Roll N Donuts Cafe is now open at the Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Until this fall, the cafe will be closed on Sunday unless there is a special event.

The menu currently includes doughnuts; coffee; fruit, veggie or yogurt parfaits cup; build your own salad or sandwiches; fruit smoothies; and Boba Tea. More menu items will be coming.

"We are so happy to offer this delicious food and beverages to our library customers. We are excited to welcome people back to the library as we recover from this pandemic and we think Roll N Donuts will be part of that story," said Gail Borden Public Library District CEO Carole Medal. "And we love how they are already becoming part of this library community, participating in our last vaccination clinic."
