Annual Randall Oaks 5K Run returns June 13

Sign up now for the Dundee Township Park District's annual Randall Oaks 5K and Kids' Fun Run on Sunday, June 13.

The 5K course will take you throughout the Randall Oaks campus while running on the paved, limestone, and grassy paths, which accommodate running and walking strollers.

The course is also accommodating for both the avid runner, as well as the casual participant.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners as well as the top three finishers in each age division. T-shirts are guaranteed for all preregistered runners and race day registration runners while supplies last.

Preregistration is now open! Registration can be completed online at www.dtpd.org/randall-oaks-5k/ or in-person. Preregistration closes on June 7 at 11:59 p.m. No registrations will be accepted after this date until the morning of the event, June 13. Race-day registration will be 7 to 7:45 a.m. at Randall Oaks Recreation Center, 500 N. Randall Road in West Dundee.

This is not a sanctioned event and will not utilize chip timing.

Cost is $35 for the 5K and $15 each for the kids' runs.

The 5K will be 8 to 9:30 a.m. with the kids 1-mile for age 8 to 11 from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and the kids half-mile for age 3 to 7 from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
