BACC to host virtual town hall with Barrington taxing bodies

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Virtual Town Hall Forum featuring updates from local taxing bodies at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 19.

The public is invited to hear the latest information on public services from local leaders. Virtual program fee is $10. To register, visit www.BarringtonChamber.com or call (847) 381-2525.

"This virtual town hall forum offers residents and business leaders in the Barrington Area a chance to hear firsthand vital information about how their tax dollars are being used in our communities," said BACC President Suzanne Corr. "Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions in advance to the speakers."

Invited organizations include: the Barrington Area Library, Barrington Community School District 220, Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District, Barrington Hills Park District, Barrington Park District, Barrington Township, Cuba Township, Harper College, and South Barrington Park District.

Other legislative events hosted by BACC include the Economic Summit in February and the Legislative Breakfast in October.
