Rotary Club of Dundee Township celebrates its 40th by awarding its millionth dollar in scholarships

The Rotary Club of Dundee Township marked the end of its 40th anniversary celebration by awarding its $1 millionth in scholarships.

To be exact, over the past 40 years, the Rotary Club of Dundee Township awarded $1,001,850.

This year alone, there were $60,500 in scholarships awarded to students graduating high school and attending secondary education.

Each year, the Rotary Club of Dundee Township raises funds through its fundraising efforts and obtains donations from local charities, businesses, individuals, and memorials for the sole purpose of assisting students as they seek higher education. This year, the scholarship ceremony was held virtually.
