Monarch Landing residents pursue philanthropy

During what has been a challenging time, the residents of Monarch Landing senior living community in Naperville have maintained their dedication to philanthropy.

"Our residents are so generous, and they are acutely aware of the hardship that others within our area are experiencing," said Sherry DeFillippo, lifestyle manager at Monarch Landing. "We are so proud that the residents have continued to support, and in fact, have ramped up their donations to, neighbors and area non-profit organizations. Over the past several months, beneficiaries have included Feed My Starving Children, Care Pantry at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Immanuel Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, Bedding for People and Pets, and Hesed House. The residents are currently connecting winter coats for Wayside Cross in Aurora."
