Beautification Awards coming to Barrington businesses.

The Council of Barrington Garden Clubs, consisting of five (5) local garden clubs will again be awarding and recognizing businesses in the Barrington area for their excellence in plantings around and near their entrances.

This year, the businesses being focused on will be in downtown Barrington, The Foundery, LB Mart and the Arboretum in South Barrington. Awards will be chosen in various categories. The project's purpose is to keep the Barrington's beautiful for those who shop or conduct business here.

This is a time to start thinking about how your business grounds will be planted. Our committee will be visiting businesses in July and August taking photos for judging in September. So make sure you maintain your gardens as well. And good luck to you all.
