Mundelein High School FBLA competes at virtual state conference

Mundelein High School's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America competed at the Illinois State Leadership Conference, held as a virtual event this year, throughout March and April.

A total of 20 Mundelein FBLA students competed this year. Students were tested remotely, while others presented their event live via Zoom with judges present.

"It's so amazing to see how well our students stepped up to the unique challenge of competing virtually this year. Our students worked very hard to prepare for their events, and it shows in the results. We are really proud of their efforts," said Sarah Wilson, who advises the group along with Chris Hoster.

Students who placed within the top four at state are now qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference, which will take place virtually June 24-27.

Mundelein High School FBLA members took home the following awards for competitive events:
