MCC virtual plays to explore relationships in age of Zoom

The Black Box Theatre at McHenry County College is proud to announce its upcoming virtual production of "Unstable Connections: A Collection of Zoom Plays." The plays will premiere Friday, April 30, via the MCC YouTube channel at www.mchenry.edu/live.

"Unstable Connections" is a series of plays written by Lauryn Lugo, Adrian Nuño, Andrew Nuño, Rikki Lee Travolta, and Jay Geller exploring different relationships in the age of Zoom. The cast includes a wonderful mix of students, alumni, and community members such as CJ Arevalo (Marango), Hayley DeCicco (Wonder Lake), Jake Seelye (Harvard), April Noel (Woodstock), Ethan Sherman (Huntley), Dale Hansen (Harvard), Heather Bilecki (Huntley), Paul Lockwood (Woodstock), and Shannon Mayhall (Cary). The play is directed by Jay Geller (Kildeer) and assistant directed by Annelise Loser (Woodstock).

 

The performances can be viewed for free at 7 p.m. Friday, April 30; Saturday, May 1; and Sunday, May 2. They will be livestreamed at www.mchenry.edu/live.
