Aurora to host next mass vaccination clinic April 13

In collaboration with Jewel-Osco and the Fox Valley Mall, the City of Aurora is hosting its ninth Mass Vaccination Clinic in just over a month.

The clinic will be held on Tuesday, April 13 at the Aurora Mass Vaccination Site at Fox Valley Mall.

2,500 Aurora residents can sign up to receive the appointment link beginning 2 p.m. on Friday, April 9 at www.aurora-il.org/MassVaxAurora.

Residents who sign up will be emailed and texted the appointment link to make appointments for the clinic.

This clinic will provide the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, which can be taken by anyone 16 years and older. A second-dose appointment will be scheduled at the same site.

Mass Vax Aurora #9 is open to Aurora residents only who are 16 years and older, regardless of occupation or preexisting conditions.

Aurora has also hosted four equity-focused clinics for the Black, Latinx, Indian American communities and for people with disabilities, with more planned for April.
