Naperville and India Hub hold COVID-19 vaccination clinic

The City of Naperville partnered with the India Hub to hold a COVID-19 vaccination event at the Mall of India on Tuesday, March 16. The clinic was administered by Prism Health Labs.

Harish Kolasani, co-founder of India Hub, shared his excitement over the opening of the new location. He also announced the official launch of India Hub, a one-stop destination offering assistance on a variety of important matters to people of all the ethnicities. Mall of India leadership offered its prime location free of cost to help Prism achieve its goal.

Attendees at the launch included Congressman Bill Foster, Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico, Naperville City Council member Benny White, and Naperville City Manager Doug Krieger. Joining Harish Kolasani in attendance were Dr. Samina Hijab, Dr. Imtiaz Arain, Dr. Vemuri Murthy, Seema Kapadia, and Mall of India owners Vinoz Chanamolu and Ajay Sunkara who is also co-founder of India Hub.

Rep. Foster congratulated National India Hub and Prism Health Labs for the initiative. Mayor Chirico praised the efforts of Dr. Mahbub Kapadia of Prism Health Labs and Mall of India owners and Omayra Giachello, Illinois Department of Public Health Regional Health Officer for making this possible.

Ajay Sunkara, vice president of Mall of India, along with his partner Vinoz Chanamolu, thanked the City of Naperville for making the approval process for the vaccination clinic go smoothly and fast.

Dr. Kapadia and his wife, Seema Kapadia, thanked each and every member of the team including India Hub and Mall of India teams who made the vaccination clinic a huge success. Dr. Kapadia mentioned how his wife and sons have been a driving force behind all these campaigns to ensure smooth execution. Seema Kapadia is on hand during the clinic to ensure a safe, timely and equitable administration of the vaccine.

Kolasani also thanked mall manager Pramod Chintamaneni, who helped with required arrangements, and volunteers Laura Gaskill, Melissa Rehn, Kelly Pilleux, Sherry Podgorsky, Manisha Gore, Kim Wigge and others.
