Get in your order for Batavia United Way's Soup Sampler Event

Due to the continuing uncertainty during these COVID-19 times, the Batavia United Way has adjusted the annual Soup Tasting fundraising event to a slightly different, but equally satisfying, "Soup Sampler Home Pack" for curbside pickup.

Each order includes a variety of nine, 6 oz. soups from local restaurants ready to heat and enjoy. Also included is a bistro salad, bread, utensils, and napkins. Each order is designed for 2-3 people.

Order multiple boxes to feed a larger family!

The Soup Sampler will be available for pickup on Tuesday, March 23, between 4:30 and 7 p.m. at Bar Evolution, 27 N. River St.

In years past, local restaurants have donated soups, but this year, local businesses have stepped up to sponsor the restaurants to cover their costs.

Both Bar Evolution and The Tea Tree will have specials available if you are interested in having a drink or grabbing some tea before heading home to enjoy your soup.

For more information on ordering, visit bataviaunitedway.org/soupevent/.

All proceeds from this event will go back into the Batavia community.

Participating restaurants and their soups:

• Acquaviva - Italian Wedding Soup

• Bocaditos Cafe - Lentil and Heirloom Tomato Soup

• Bulldogs Red Hots - Fresh Baked Bread

• Daddio's Diner - Spicy Black Bean Soup

• Enticing Cuisine - Chipotle Corn Chowder

• Fernando's Street Kitchen - Fideo Soup

• Gammon Coach House - New England Clam Chowder

• Oak & Swine - Apple Brie Beer Cheese Soup

• Pal Joeys - Bistro Salad

• Sidecar Supper Club - Split Pea Soup

• Tusk - Tom Yum Soup

And the Batavia United Way offers a big thank you to the sponsors: A-Accurate Door Service Inc., Batavia Animal Clinic, Batavia Enterprises, Brother Chimp Brewing, Bulldog Plumbing Inc., Edward Jones Advisor Nick Ninedorf, Gindo's Spice of Life, Hagemann Wealth, Kari Edwards Broker for KW Inspire, K Hollis Jewelers, and Nadler Golf Car Sales.

One hundred percent of their contributions went directly to the restaurants to cover their costs. The restaurants have graciously donated their soups for the past 4 years. It feels great to support them for a change!
