Join in two campaigns this winter to support Geneva businesses

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to support local businesses by joining in the "Geneva Restaurant Carryout Challenge" between Jan. 1-31 or the "Show Your Love, Shop Local" campaign Feb. 1-14.

Carryout Challenge:

Order carryout from a Geneva restaurant, take a picture and post it on social media. Use #GenevaCarryOutChallenge, tag the restaurant and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce. Then challenge two friends to order carryout from a Geneva restaurant and they can challenge two friends, and so on and so on.

All participants that use #GenevaCarryoutChallenge will be entered into a drawing to win $ 100 in "Geneva Gift Certificates."

Shop Local:

Shoppers who spend $100 in Geneva Chamber of Commerce member retail shops (restaurants excluded from this promotion) from Feb. 1-14, 2021 are invited to bring their receipts to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce office at 8 S. Third St., Geneva.

Once validated, the shopper will receive $15 "Geneva Gift Certificate," compliments of the Geneva Chamber, as a thank you for shopping local.

The receipts must total $100 or more and be from the time period of Feb. 1-14, 2021. Prior purchases are not eligible.
