Palatine Jaycees Accepting Letters to Santa

The Palatine Jaycees are holding our annual Christmas Tree Sales from November 28 to December 20! While on the lot there are a variety of opportunities available from buying a tree, wreaths, garland and even for the children, there is the chance to write a letter to Santa. Paper, pens and envelopes will all be provided. Children will be able to mail a letter to Santa and mail it to Santa from a mailbox on the Christmas tree lot. Santa will respond to any letter dropped in the box before December 18th. Please include a legible return address on your envelope.

"The Palatine Jaycees have worked to provide a variety of events within the community and we are happy to provide our Santa letters to the community!" stated Palatine Jaycees co-chair Jessie Levin.

"With COVID-19 changing many events and all community members' lives we are excited to still offer a traditional event that we all look forward to during the holidays," said Palatine Jaycee project chair Emily Reyes.

"While we are all concerned about COVID-19, all guidelines will be strictly followed, with masks, social distancing and everyone will be given their own Palatine Jaycees pen to write with and keep. If you'd prefer to prewrite your letter feel free to stop by the tree lot and drop it off in the mailbox!"stated Palatine Chairs project chair Ali Schnackel.

Every year, the Palatine Jaycees serve the community and surrounding areas in several different ways. The chapter partners with the township at events, works with non-profit
