Holiday cards highlighting Elgin to support local small businesses

The Downtown Neighborhood Association of Elgin is offering custom holiday cards created by local artist Kerri Liu of The Gin.

Liu creates art in an effort to spread joy, curiosity and pride for the place we live.

A portion of the proceeds from these holiday cards will help support small businesses in downtown Elgin.

The artwork on the cards feature sites around town.

"Let It Snow" features the rooftop of a home on Highland Avenue

"Winter in the City" features the Elgin Tower Building in downtown Elgin.

"Merry + Bright" features a festive bicycle sculpture in DuPage Court.

"Winter Window" features a large, beautiful window on Riverside Drive.

"Snow Day Dreams" features a Painted Lady house on Highland Avenue.

"Happiest Holidays" features a bison from Lords Park.

Available in a box set of 6, these limited edition cards can be shipped or picked up at the DNA office located at 31 S. Grove Ave. on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Cost for a box is $15 by pickup or $17 with shipping. The cards are printed on uncoated paper (4.25 by 5.5 inches) with printed A2 envelope.
