'Color the Town Pink' goes extra mile to help American Cancer Society

Deer Park Town Center hosted its fifth annual "Color the Town Pink" event virtually this past October.

While hosting the traditional event was not an option this year due to the pandemic, Deer Park Town Center still wanted to do what they can do to continue their annual support for the American Cancer Society.

Deer Park Town Center has a generous community that looks forward to supporting this event every year, so they were not surprised at the amount of participation they had for the virtual event.

Guests registered in advance with a donation to receive their 2020 Color the Town Pink swag bag that feature this year's event T-shirt, a pink face mask, two raffle tickets and offers from participating Deer Park Town Center retailers. Guests had the option of purchasing more raffle tickets when they picked up their bags.

Between the registration, raffle tickets, T-shirt sales and other store events, they were able to raise $3,000 for the American Cancer Society.
