The Fox River Valley Public Library District has arranged a very special Zoom discussion with a real life paleontologist.

"Ask A Paleontologist" will feature author and Professor of Paleontology and Evolution at the University of Edinburgh Steve Brusatte from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25. To register for the program and receive the Zoom invitation link, visit frvpld.info/frvpld-live-ask-paleontologist-featuring-author-steve-brusatte.

Brusatte has named 15 new species of dinosaurs and has appeared on CBS Evening News, BBC News, and the National Geographic Channel documentary "T. Rex Autopsy."

Brusatte is also the author of "The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: A New History of a Lost World," which was chosen as the library's first "One Book, One District" title.

The program is intended for all ages, and participants will be invited to ask questions directly to Brusatte during the Q&A portion of the program. Questions can also be emailed in advance to QandA@frvpld.info. Reading the book is not required to enjoy the program, but is highly recommended. Learn more about Brusatte by following him on Twitter @SteveBrusatte.
