Weil Foot & Ankle Institute (WFAI) is pleased to announce that Dr. Sharif Denden has joined the podiatry practice. Dr. Denden will see patients in our Avalon Park and Evergreen Park offices beginning July 17.

Dr. Denden is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He completed his DPM at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Denden also recently completed a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency @ RUSH Oak Park, with Drs. Alexander, Alianello and Stern.

Born and raised in the city of Chicago, Dr. Denden's interest in medicine was sparked by a sports background and the numerous sports injuries he encountered along the way. His eyes were drawn to medicine when he saw the role a physician plays in the care and rehab following an injury of an athlete. He looks forward to giving back to the community in the city that has provided him so much over the years.
