Mount Prospect Public Library Expands Services to Include In-person Computer Usage

The Mount Prospect Public Library announces the introduction of preliminary on-site services, beginning Monday, June 22. Cardholders ages 16 and older may register for a 1-hour session to use public computers.

Sessions are available Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 2-4 p.m., 5-7 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday: 2-4 p.m. The library will also make available SimpleScan equipment to scan and fax documents. Registration is required and available by calling the library at 847-253-5675.

Patrons are limited to one session per day. Social distancing will be enforced and face coverings are required while inside the building. Equipment will be sanitized between users.

Services available at the library may change at any time. The library's actions are guided by available science and information from health and infectious disease experts, Executive Orders from the Office of Governor Pritzker, and the American Library Association.
