Bannockburn's Michael S. Lewis, M.D. Releases New Book: The Ball's in Your Court

What is Michael Jordan really like? What does it take to be a world-class champion and how can we apply that knowledge to our own lives? What makes a great teacher? Why was Phil Jackson such a successful coach?

In The Ball's in Your Court, Michael S. Lewis, M.D. - the Chicago Bulls' orthopedic surgeon during the team's last two championship years, including "The Last Dance" - takes readers behind the scenes to answer these questions, and offer an intimate portrait of the many world-class athletes and inspiring teachers he has met during his career, including Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson, Bill Veeck, Sir John Charnley and Abraham Maslow.

All profits from the sale of The Ball's in Your Court (Amazon.com, $17.95) will be donated to the Himalayan Cataract Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to eliminate preventable and curable blindness in under-resourced communities around the world.
