District 6 holds 'Together at Home' Closure Concert

On May 13, the Zion Elementary District 6 community came together for an evening of entertainment and unity during the "Together at Home" Closure Concert.

District 6 may continue to face school closures and social distancing measures, however, the Closure Concert was a huge success as students, staff, families and community members tuned in from a distance to witness some of the amazing talent in the district.

The evening featured an opening by Superintendent Dr. Keely Roberts, a live student drawing, a districtwide performance of "Lean on Me," a student solo, student/teacher duets and a performance by the District 6 music team.

The district thanks all who tuned in and helped to make the Closure Concert the success that it was. The concert is available to view on the District 6 YouTube channel, zion-6.org/r99x9.
