Tune in to Barrington's White House's online series
Barrington's White House is pleased to present its new online series, Virtual Arts and Culture. Each event will feature a visual artist or performer broadcasting via Zoom webinar.
From 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 6, enjoy an evening with singer/songwriter Pat McKillen. The event will feature songs from his past and upcoming albums and a special Q&A session for any budding songwriters.
A prolific songwriter, McKillen finds joy in every part of the creative process. As the sole producer of his three LPs ("Stagefright," 2011; "The Red Headed Enemy," 2013; "Blood & Bones," 2016) and EP "Love Without Me," 2014, every song represents a complete cycle of the creative process.
Dedicated to creating a sound that reflects the organic nature of his songwriting, McKillen brings life to songs recorded mostly in his Chicago apartment. The result is a fusion of musical genres, including folk, pop and rock.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are suggested as a way to help support the artists as well as upcoming cultural performances at Barrington's White House.
