Re-Open St. Charles Support Grant application opens June 8

Beginning on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m., St. Charles businesses will be able to apply for the St. Charles Business Alliance's Re-Open St. Charles Support Grant.

The Re-Open St. Charles Support Grant is in partnership with the City of St. Charles and intended to provide financial assistance to reopen businesses located in St. Charles who have been closed or have seen significant reduction in revenue due to the pandemic.

Each business can apply on a first-come, first-served basis.

Businesses can use the grant money for reopening expenses like safety equipment, outdoor furniture and other reopening costs.

The amount awarded for the grant will depend on a business' tax revenue for 2019. The breakdown is as follows: businesses in the $10,000 to $500,000 range in tax revenue can receive $1,000; $500,000 to $1,000,000 can receive $2,300; $1,000,000 to $1,500,000 can receive $3,650 and $1,500,000 to $2,000,000 can receive $5,000.
